Cleanup Ministry

Come one, come all! Help us spruce up our wonderful parish. 

Cleanup Day is a terrific way to serve at our parish. All volunteers are welcome! Come pitch in, enjoy the fellowship, and make new friends! Lunch will be provided.

Cleanup Days are great opportunities for fun, fellowship, and making new friends from other services.

Those of us who participated last year found ourselves gaining a deeper sense of belonging as we worked together to enhance the beauty, order and cleanliness of our beloved church buildings, regardless of which site we most often frequented. We hope this will be your experience as well.

Cleanup Days are on the first Saturday of the month.

Each month, we try to rotate between our two campuses.

The church will provide lunch, so we need an approximate head count.

On St. George’s Cleanup Days, enter through the door off the courtyard on 16th Street between Third Avenue and Rutherford Place.

On Calvary Cleanup Days, enter at the Parish House door just behind the church at 61 Gramercy Park North (aka 21st Street). For St. George's, enter through the door at the back of the courtyard on 16th Street between 3rd and 2nd Avenues. Call Chris Anderson, the Clean Team leader, at 646 528 6933 if you arrive after 10 am and need to find the team.

We welcome Calvary folks at St. George's, and St. George's folks, at Calvary. We are one church family!

Cleanup Days run from 10 AM to 2 PM. Feel free to come for the whole day or drop in for an hour. We will be glad to see you! If you have a friend (or two or ten) who would like to come, bring them along!
