The Office Party is an absurdist play and comedy by Vaclav Havel about what happens when language loses its meaning to the point of incomprehension. It's a particularly relevant subject in our current state of media and public discourse.

Officials of the Offices for Opening are at war with those from the Offices for Closing. Hugo Pludek, caught in the middle of their power struggle, is entrusted with a special task: to build a new office for 'The Central Commission for Opening and Closing'.
