Reformation Pilgrimage 2020 | Info Meeting

  • Anderson Hall, Calvary Church 61 Gramercy Park North New York, NY, 10010 United States (map)

Join us as we traverse Germany to see the greatest sights of the Protestant Reformation. Among the many sights we visit will be, Wittenberg, where Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses to the church doors, Eisenberg, where Luther was born and died, and Worms, where Luther famously stool trail for his beliefs declaring “Here I stand, I can do no other!”

A highlight of the trip will be a visit to Oberammergau for it’s epic Passion Play. A theatrical tradition since 1634, the world-famous Oberammergau Passion Play is a much-anticipated reenactment of the crucifixion of Christ – from His entry into Jerusalem to the Resurrection – performed only once a decade in the quaint Bavarian village of Oberammergau.
