New Creation! John 1:1-18
The Rev. Ben DeHart. John has no account of Jesus' birth. No shepherds, no angels, no men from the east. What he does begin with is a hymn; a hymn that's first words are "In the beginning." Where else in the Bible does a book begin that way? What might John be getting at harking us back to creation?
