A Silly Children's Tale. Luke 19:1-10

A week and a half from election day, a most serious time for our country, and you are about to hear a sermon on a silly children’s story. You’ve know the song, “Zacchaeus was a wee little man and a wee little man was he. He climbed up into a sycamore tree for the Lord he wanted to see…” After that the lyrics get a little fuzzy for most of us, but, you get the idea, it’s a cute story for kids. Not one that would easily lend itself to be taken seriously by adult worried about the future of their country...
